Privacy policy

This explains what personal data ScanFirst processes and why.

Who is responsible

ScanFirst is responsible for the processing described here. ScanFirst is operated from the Netherlands. Contact: contact@scanfirst.io.

What we process

• Visiting the site. Our hosting provider processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver the site and keep it secure.
• Your watchlist. It is saved only in your own browser (local storage). We do not receive it. You can remove it by clearing your browser data.
• Booking a promotion. The wallet address you pay from and the transaction signature (both public on the blockchain), the token's contract address, name, symbol and link, and your email address if you give one. We use them to process the payment, show the listing and contact you about it.

Blockchain data is public and cannot be deleted by us.

Services loaded by our pages

Our pages are hosted by Vercel. Market data is requested through our own service running on Cloudflare, which fetches it from CoinGecko; CoinGecko therefore does not see your IP address, but Cloudflare and Vercel process it to deliver the site. The typeface and the charting library are served from our own site. If our copy of the charting library cannot be loaded, the token page falls back to the jsDelivr network, which would then receive your IP address. The promotion page loads a Solana wallet library from jsDelivr. When you use the swap, your swap request (the token, the amount and your wallet address) is sent through our service to Jupiter, which prepares the swap under its own privacy policy. Your wallet signs the swap in your browser; we never receive or store your keys. If you connect a wallet, the wallet provider has its own privacy policy. If you choose "More wallets", we load WalletConnect (Reown) only when you tap it; WalletConnect then processes technical data such as your IP address and wallet address to set up the connection, under its own privacy policy. We never receive your keys.

Cookies and analytics

We do not set cookies. Your watchlist and your theme choice are saved in your own browser (local storage) and are never sent to us. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits in aggregate (pages viewed, referrer, country, device and browser type). It is cookieless, does not track individual visitors across sites and does not build profiles. We do not use advertising trackers.

Basis and retention

We process data to run and secure the site and to carry out the promotions you book. We keep promotion data for as long as needed for that and for our records. We rely on the agreement we make with you when you book a promotion, and on our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and working. Payment records are kept for up to 7 years because tax rules require it. You can ask us to see, correct or delete your data (where the law allows) by emailing us.

Your rights

You can ask us for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction or a copy, and you can object to processing. Email contact@scanfirst.io. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
